OceanDune Sibaya is a self-catering holiday apartment set in a dream setting along one of Durban’s most exquisite coastlines, overlooking the popular tourist beachfront destination of Umdloti.


BEDROOMS LAYOUT

The main bedroom contains a king-size bed, and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath and a shower, a toilet and a washbasin. The second bedroom contains a double bed. The guest bathroom is fitted with a shower, a toilet and a washbasin.


UNIT LAYOUT

The air-conditioned apartment can accommodate up to 4 guests and comprises 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and an open-plan kitchen, living area, and Uncapped WIFI.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and contains a stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, and cutlery and crockery. The dining area has seating space for 6 people, while the lounge has a comfy lounge suite.

The living area opens up onto a lovely balcony that has outdoor patio furniture.

HOUSEKEEPING

No daily service is provided but guests can arrange it at an extra cost (Please notify us timeously). Linen is provided and only replaced for stays of longer than six days while bath towels are provided and replaced every fourth day. Additional linen and towel changes can be arranged at an extra fee. Do remember to bring along your own beach towels.


PARKING

Covered parking is available on the estate.


ESTATE

OceanDune Sibaya offers facilities for both children and adults with plenty opportunity for families to spend time together enjoying life within the safety of this estate. Making the most of the warm KZN climate, OceanDune has 2 dedicated splash pools for kids, each with a slide, and located nearby are 2 pools ideally suited for adults. The elevated sun deck overlooks the dense forest just beyond the estate to then lead one’s gaze to the crystalline Indian Ocean ahead. The sun deck is equipped with sun loungers set along the pool, pergola and braai pods. Taking relaxation to new heights, the sun deck offers up cosy tranquility with hanging cocoon chairs and polished boulder seats within a green area which is also equipped with fire pits. Those looking to keep active will find the estate gym a convenient addition while kids can go wild in their very own play area set up with climbing apparatus and other equipment.


REMEMBER

Bring along your own beach towels. Don't forget this is a self-catering apartment and we will only stock essentials on arrival, like dishwashing liquid.

Beaches are influenced by weekly tests to determine if it is safe to swim or not and we can not guarantee that the beach will be open for swimming. It is very important to note that we can't control or predict the environment with electricity, water and beaches. Refunds are not possible on any of these instances beyond our control and advise guests to take the matter up with the suppliers.


AREA

Being within the prestigious Sibaya Coastal Precinct means residents will be able to access the forest walkways which meander through the protected coastal forest to ultimately arrive at the Umdloti beachfront. This forest area is a managed environment taken care of by the Sibaya Coastal Precinct Management team. The Sibaya Coastal Precinct also boasts 75km of jogging and walking trails throughout the estate. As a holistic precinct, Sibaya Coastal Precinct will offer a host of retail outlets offering convenience services, eateries and other shopping experiences which are available to all OceanDune residents and the greater Sibaya community and visitors.
