Please take note, this includes your refundable damage deposit, should it be applicable. No payments are possible at the property. Unfortunately due to the amount of fraudulent proof of payment receipts, we take note of the POP's but will only tick off payment once the funds are reflected in our account. For last-minute bookings, please use the "pay-and-clear" option from your bank. There is a tendency from online booking portals to hide certain fees in the small print, please ensure that you are aware of these fees, especially relating to the damage deposit and administrative fees. No exceptions will be allowed and no arrival note submitted unless the full balance is settled. Please assist us in ensuring that you have a smooth check-in process.

This spacious ground-floor home in Hermanus comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests and features 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Located within walking distance of the Jan Rabie tidal pool and the scenic promenade, it also offers stunning mountain views.


BEDROOMS LAYOUT

The main bedroom is furnished with an extra king-size bed, a flat-screen TV, and an en-suite bathroom equipped with both a bath and shower. The second bedroom features a queen-size bed, while the third bedroom includes a double bed and its own en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet, and basin. The fourth bedroom has two single beds and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet, and basin. All bedrooms are fitted with ceiling fans for added comfort.


UNIT LAYOUT

The home is fully equipped for self-catering. The modern kitchen includes a centre island, a small breakfast nook, a gas stove, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, and a coffee machine. The adjacent living area features comfortable couches, a flat-screen TV, DSTV, Wi-Fi, and a cozy fireplace—perfect for chilly winter evenings.

There is also an informal lounge offering breathtaking mountain views, and a spacious dining area with a 14-seater table and a built-in braai. Outdoors, guests can enjoy a seating area with a gas braai and a swimming pool. Beach towels and an umbrella are provided for added convenience.

GENERAL

Alex, the housekeeper, lives on the premises and will assist with housekeeping during your stay. He is also an excellent cook and, for an additional fee, can prepare meals for your convenience.


LOADSHEDDING

The home is equipped with an Inverter system.


REMEMBER

Don't forget this is a self-catering home and we will only stock essentials on arrival, like dishwashing liquid.

South Africa is experiencing consistent load-shedding affecting all areas, please come prepared. It is very important to note that we can't control or predict the environment with electricity, water and beaches. Refunds are not possible on any of these instances beyond our control and advise guests to take the matter up with the suppliers.


AREA

Hermanus is a seaside town southeast of Cape Town, in South Africa’s Western Cape Province. It's known as a whale-watching destination. Beaches include Voëlklip Beach and the broad Grotto Beach, overlooking Walker Bay. The Old Harbour Museum is a site encompassing the old harbour, a fishermen’s village and the Whale House Museum. The latter has informative displays and a suspended skeleton of a whale.
