Please take note, this includes your refundable damage deposit, should it be applicable. No payments are possible at the property. Unfortunately due to the amount of fraudulent proof of payment receipts, we take note of the POP's but will only tick off payment once the funds are reflected in our account. For last-minute bookings, please use the "pay-and-clear" option from your bank. There is a tendency from online booking portals to hide certain fees in the small print, please ensure that you are aware of these fees, especially relating to the damage deposit and administrative fees. No exceptions will be allowed and no arrival note submitted unless the full balance is settled. Please assist us in ensuring that you have a smooth check-in process.

BEDROOMS LAYOUT

All the main living areas and bedrooms are thoughtfully arranged on a single floor, ensuring seamless access throughout the home. The bedrooms are tastefully configured: The main bedroom comes equipped with a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom that boasts a luxurious bath and shower. Bedroom 2 features 2 single beds, while a second bathroom offers both a bath and a shower. Bedroom 3 is furnished with 2 single beds and has an en-suite bathroom with a refreshing shower. Bedroom 4 is appointed with two single beds, and an en-suite bathroom with a relaxing bath. It is reached via 3 steps from the back courtyard, adding a touch of privacy and uniqueness. A 5th bedroom with a single bed is conveniently accessed through the main bedroom, making it perfect for a young child's room or a serene study area. Additionally, the living room features a versatile double dropdown sleeper couch, offering extra sleeping space for guests. Please note that the single beds in the bedrooms can easily be pushed together to create double beds.


UNIT LAYOUT

The kitchen is fully equipped, complete with a washing machine and dishwasher for your convenience. The property also offers WiFi access. There are two distinct dining areas. One in the kitchen and the other next to the living area. On cold winter nights, cozy up by the fireplace or make use of the heaters. Guests can indulge in the enchanting outdoor spaces, which boast two separate patios, a built-in braai, a Weber braai, and a refreshing swimming pool with two pool loungers, all set against the backdrop of stunning mountain views. For added comfort, beach towels and beach umbrellas are also provided.

GENERAL

The property is exceptionally secure, featuring an ADT monitoring system, a 24/7 electric fence, and tenant-activated motion detectors. Guests can also use the mountain bikes in the garage.


LOADSHEDDING

The home is not equipped with a backup power source.


REMEMBER

Don't forget this is a self-catering home and we will only stock essentials on arrival, like dishwashing liquid.

It is very important to note that we can't control or predict the environment with electricity, water and beaches. Refunds are not possible on any of these instances beyond our control and advise guests to take the matter up with the suppliers.


AREA

Hermanus is a seaside town southeast of Cape Town, in South Africa’s Western Cape Province. It's known as a whale-watching destination. Beaches include Voëlklip Beach and the broad Grotto Beach, overlooking Walker Bay. The Old Harbour Museum is a site encompassing the old harbour, a fishermen’s village and the Whale House Museum. The latter has informative displays and a suspended skeleton of a whale.
