VILLA 2103 is a two-bedroom (plus loft), two-bathroom unit with the entrance on the ground floor and located not far from the Hotel and swimming pools. A tranquil little stream passes by the bottom of the lawn, in front of the unit. Guest will most likely welcome the geese family and spot reedbucks drinking from the stream, while having a braai on the patio.


BEDROOMS LAYOUT

Take note that leading into Bedroom 1, there is a couple of stairs, while Bedroom 2, Bathroom 2 and the loft area are located on another floor, slightly higher with extra stairs. Bedroom 1 has a Queen-size bed, aircon, TV and en-suite Bathroom with a bath. Bedroom 2 has two single beds next to each other as well as an aircon in the room. The loft area has a bunk bed for little one’s below the age of six years. In between Bedroom 2 and the loft area is Bathroom 2 with a shower only.


UNIT LAYOUT

The kitchen has a tumble dryer and washing machine combo, while the living area leads onto the covered patio. Premium DStv package is included, while the living area also has an aircon. Braai and dining facilities are available under the covered patio. From the patio guests can keep a safe eye on the kiddies while they run wild after the geese.


CAPACITY

Capped at six persons, but person 5th and 6th should be below the age of six years, as per estate rules.


HOUSEKEEPING

Does a standard service on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays during the low-season. In mid-high season, the unit is serviced every day, except on Sundays and Public Holidays. Take note that long weekends and public-school holidays are included in the mid-season. *Additional services can be arranged at an extra cost, please notify us beforehand. This amount can also be deducted from the refundable breakage deposit.

Linen changes are scheduled for stays of longer than five days and will be scheduled during the middle of that period.
Towel changes are done on Monday, Wednesday, Fridays and on all new arrivals. Additional changes can be arranged at an extra fee. Please notify us beforehand.


PARKING

Reserved for one vehicle under the carport. Additional vehicles need to park at the guest parking spaces at each lot or at the Hotel. Please note these parking bays are open and not covered.


GENERAL

Uncapped WIFI is provided and the codes are in the flip file located within the unit. Guests need to pay San Lameer Reception R10 per armband, to gain access to the beach for the duration of your stay. This is done on check-in when collecting your keys.

Please note that this unit does not have a dishwasher.


TAKE NOTE

South Africa is experiencing consistent load-shedding affecting all areas, including the South Coast. In the past, San Lameer has had occasions whereby the Eskom breakers in Marina Beach tripped after a load-shedding restart and left the estate without power for a day. We are not able to predict these events and this is out of our control. Please come prepared. Beaches are influenced by weekly tests to determine if it is safe to swim or not and we cannot guarantee that the beach will be open for swimming. The UGU Municipality does have seasonal problems with water supply on the South Coast, which might influence your stay. Although San Lameer has boreholes and reserve tanks, they are still reliant on the supply of the municipality. It is very important to note that we can't control or predict their water supply but will notify our guests should there be an expected problem. We can unfortunately not provide refunds on these instances, and advise guests to take the matter up with the related supplier of the service, or alternatively do not book the unit.


LOADSHEDDING

The unit is not equipped with a backup power source.


REMEMBER

This is a self-catering unit, and the unit is fitted with all basic cutlery items, but no food or replenishable stock. Please bring along your own beach towels.

The estate has various activities, including Access to two blue flag beaches, Lagoon, Beach and Sea Viewing Decks, Complimentary 9-hole Pitch & Putt course – Mashie, Table tennis at Leisure Desk and Clubhouse, MBT trail, Jogging, Bicycles For Hire, Fishing Dam - Catch and Release, Tennis and Squash Courts, Children Play Areas, Bowling Green, Paddle Boats and Stand-Up Paddle Boards, Climbing Walls for Children, 2 Swimming pools – Slides and Children’s Water Feature, Bird Viewing Dam and a Communal Braai area at the Beach Gate


AREA

With almost 160 km of beaches that become havens for swimming, surfing, fishing and diving, and rugged untamed landscape perfect for hiking and 4×4 expeditions, the natural wonders of the area are immediately apparent. Added to this are wildlife sanctuaries, stunning 18-hole golf courses and numerous adventure activities unique to the KZN South Coast.
