Please take note, this includes your refundable damage deposit, should it be applicable. No payments are possible at the property. Unfortunately due to the amount of fraudulent proof of payment receipts, we take note of the POP's but will only tick off payment once the funds are reflected in our account. For last-minute bookings, please use the "pay-and-clear" option from your bank. There is a tendency from online booking portals to hide certain fees in the small print, please ensure that you are aware of these fees, especially relating to the damage deposit and administrative fees. No exceptions will be allowed and no arrival note submitted unless the full balance is settled. Please assist us in ensuring that you have a smooth check-in process.

Nest Egg Holiday Home offers a serene retreat in the peaceful Voëlklip, Hermanus neighborhood. Ideally situated within walking distance to Grotto Beach and offers five well-appointed bedrooms and three modern bathrooms. Ensuring a magnificent stay for a maximum of 10 guests.


BEDROOMS LAYOUT

The ground floor features a well-appointed layout, including Bedroom 1 with a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a shower, basin and toilet . Alongside Bedroom 2 with 2 single beds and Bedroom 3 with a double bed. These two rooms share a bathroom, bath only. A guest bathroom is also available on this floor.

Ascending to the first floor reveals Bedroom 4 and Bedroom 5, both equipped with queen-size beds and boasting captivating sea views. Accompanied by a bathroom with a bath, basin and toilet. It's important to be aware that there are interior stairs within the unit leading to this level.


UNIT LAYOUT

There's a spacious kitchen with coffee machine and dishwasher, laundry nook with a washing machine and tumble dryer, and open plan living room with a fireplace, DSTV and WIFI for guests to enjoy. The dining room create an inviting atmosphere for gatherings, complemented by an indoor built-in braai area with a bar.

The home is thoughtfully designed to maximize natural light, with beautiful mountain vistas enhancing the ambiance. Guests can indulge in additional amenities such as a Weber braai, ensuring delightful outdoor cooking experiences, along with heaters for cozy evenings. Plentiful beach towels are provided for convenience, and an inverter is available to ensure uninterrupted comfort throughout the stay, guaranteeing a truly enjoyable experience for all.

AREA

Hermanus is a seaside town southeast of Cape Town, in South Africa’s Western Cape Province. It's known as a whale-watching destination. Beaches include Voëlklip Beach and the broad Grotto Beach, overlooking Walker Bay. The Old Harbour Museum is a site encompassing the old harbour, a fishermen’s village and the Whale House Museum. The latter has informative displays and a suspended skeleton of a whale.
